Japanese teriyaki sauce is a universal sauce because it fits all dishes – meat, fish, vegetable, and mushroom.
Chicken fillet with teriyaki sauce
Necessary ingredients for teriyaki sauce.
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of crushed ginger root
ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of pineapple juice
Necessary ingredients for chicken:
3 pieces of chicken fillet without skin and bones
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of water
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a small saucepan. Bring it all to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to a minimum and cook, stirring until the sugar dissolves (about 3 minutes). Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely. Add 1/2 cup of water.
Place the chicken in a sealed plastic bag. Add cooked sauce, close the package and shake well. Put it in the refrigerator for the night.
Pour the marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to a minimum. Mix the cornstarch with water and add it to the pan. Cook, stirring, until the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat.
Preheat the oven to 200 C and lay the chicken on the baking sheet. Grease the fillet with sauce and bake until it becomes tender (about 20-25 minutes).
Let the chicken cool for several minutes, then cut it. Serve it with a warm sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Meatballs in teriyaki sauce
Delicious meatballs made of pork with traditional Japanese teriyaki sauce.
Necessary ingredients for Meatballs
500 g of minced pork
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
1 slice of crushed garlic
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
1 teaspoon of soy sauce
2 stems of chopped green onion
pinch of black pepper
Prepare the same ingredients for the sauce as in the first recipe.
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cover the pan with foil. Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs and form out 30 balls the size of a ping-pong ball. Put them on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.

When the meatballs are ready, put them in a hot sauce and mix well. Turn off the heat and let them cool for 10 minutes. Then serve with boiled rice, sprinkle them with herbs and sesame seeds.
